Getting to know… Callum Meakin, Hire Controller
We caught up with Callum Meakin to discuss the pace and variety of his role as a Hire Controller at Total Hire and Sales.
Callum joined Total Hire and Sales as a Hire Controller in 2021, having previously worked in construction for an earthmoving company. Based at the Huthwaite site, he is responsible for every stage of the hire process, from receiving the initial enquiry to meeting the customer and handing over the equipment.
He enjoys the fast pace and variety of the job, especially meeting new people and building friendships. As a team player, Callum is approachable and easy to get along with and he loves the staff banter.
A passionate Derby County fan, in his spare time, Callum enjoys supporting the Rams at their fixtures up and down the country.
