Derby Central is Total Hire and Sales’ flagship depot, based at London Road in Derby.

Everything! It has a busy hire counter service for hire of a range of power tools, consumables, small plant and equipment. Plus, it is our largest office and the majority of the team are based here, including Accounts and Credit Control.

Derby Central Total Hire and Sales depot specialises in tools for the Do It Yourself (DIY) enthusiast and light to medium duty building jobs. From industrial carpet cleaners and wallpaper steamers to a cordless combi drill/screwdriver, mini diggers, wacker plates and rollers, we have an extensive range of power tools, plant and equipment in stock and available to hire on flexible terms, at competitive prices.
When is Derby Central open?
Total Hire and Sales Derby Central Depot is open from Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, except Bank Holidays.
Is Derby Central open for drop ins?
Yes, from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, you are welcome to come into depot, visit our hire desk and discuss your project with a member of the team.
We welcome everyone from one-off hire customers for specific projects, DIY customers for gardening, decorating, small building and landscaping jobs and trade customers for all kinds of hire.
Does Derby Central offer collection and delivery?
Yes. You can book your hire in person or over the phone and either collect and return in person or arrange for our team to deliver it and collect it at a time to suit you.
