Getting to know… Darren Lockhart, Hire Controller
Darren Lockhart, Hire Controller at Total Hire and Sales, oversees the hiring and delivery of tools and equipment. He talked to us about his role and the importance of teamwork. One of the newer members of the team, Darren joined Total Hire and Sales just over a year ago and is based at our London Road depot. Before joining us as a Hire Controller, he was manager of a tyre depot.
Darren’s main responsibility is hiring and delivering equipment to customers, and he gains a lot of satisfaction from meeting their hiring needs. Describing himself as hardworking, helpful and happy, being part of a supportive team is the thing he enjoys most about working at Total Hire and Sales.
When he isn’t at work, Darren enjoys socialising, playing golf and watching footy.
