Getting to know… Jack Tolley, Depot Manager
Jack Tolley, Depot Manager at Total Hire and Sales, is responsible for ensuring our Derby central depot runs smoothly day in and day out. He talked to us about working his way up the ranks, what he enjoys most about the job and his love of sport.
Jack joined the Total Hire and Sales team initially as trainee hire controller and quickly worked his way up way up to hire manager and is now depot manager at Total Hire’s Derby Central site. Before joining the Total team, he was a supervisor with Derby-based aviation specialists Bombardier.
Jack’s main responsibility is managing the day-to-day running of the depot. He enjoys the fact that no two days are the same, and one of his favourite things about the job is working with a great team.
When he isn’t at work, Jack loves his sport – namely football, golf and cricket – and he also enjoys walking his dog, Ralph. He particularly enjoys time away on holiday.
