Getting to know…Tony Hinds, Hire and Sales Co-ordinator at Total Hire and Sales
Tony Hinds, Hire and Sales Co-ordinator at Total Hire and Sales talks to us about the most unusual reasons for hire and what he enjoys most about his job.
Part of the Total Hire team for four years, Tony looks after customers at our Huthwaite depot. Before joining Total Tony was a stay-at-home dad, looking after his two autistic sons.
Day to day, Tony loves getting to know people and helping customers find the right tools and equipment to get their jobs done. He manages enquiries, responds to hire and sales requests and arranges collection and delivery of kit to customers across the Midlands and nationwide.
In his time at Total Tony’s had some unusual moments, including someone wanting to hire a mower for AstroTurf and seeing Army helicopters flying into base. Overall, Tony mainly enjoys the fun environment at Total and working with the team.
When he’s not at work, he’s a passionate Derby County fan and enjoys watching football.
